Spacial exploration of emotions
My bachelor thesis in interior design examines the emotions fear and trust. An extensive research resulted in a pavilion for the Architecture Biennale in Venice.
The visitor enters the spatial representation of fear, where walls made of black, reflective aluminium triangles and the view gets blurred. Darkness, fragmentation and self-reflection contribute to the image of fear. Progressing through the pavilion, it transforms into a large and white translucent space that reflects trust. Here, visitors are encouraged to take pictures of themselves and leave them to other visitors.
